Opportunities for North American Teachers in China

Are you interested in traveling to a country of ancient civilization and modern amenities, witnessing breath-taking scenery, trying out real oriental dining, and gaining priceless teaching experience for life?

We are pleased to announce that a new round of recruitment for this year’s Teaching in China Program is underway! We are looking for Canadian teachers of various backgrounds to participate in a number of short-term and long-term teaching programs in mainland China.

“Short-term” Summer ESL Programs, conducted in July and August, are two to four weeks in length and involve 25 hours of teaching per week. This year's program will be carried out at the kindergarten, elementary and secondary levels in schools at multiple locations including Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Guangzhou, and a number of cities in Jiangsu Province. Followed by an exciting trip to the mysterious land of Tibet, this program will be worth every minute of your time!

“Long-term” Teacher Placement Programs are six months to one year in length, with possible extensions if you are interested. You will have the choice of being placed in a variety of locations, including post-secondary institutions, secondary and elementary schools, and kindergartens in the cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Nanjing, Taiyuan, Guiyang, Guangzhou, and many more.
